NEW RECORD SET at Emily’s Run

Jesse Orach of Auburn set a new course record at the 2017 edition of Emily’s Run with a time of 15:07.9.  The previous record was set by Moninda Marube in 2014 (15:30).  Ryan Smith of Auburn also eclipsed the previous record, with a time of 15:20.9.

Last year’s Triple Crown Runner-up Mary Pardi set the pace for the ladies with a time of 19:33.3, narrowly edging 2014 Triple Crown Champion Kelly Brown (19:41.2).

With two races in the books, Moninda Marube leads the way on the men’s side in the quest for the Triple Crown.  His cumulative time of 31:45.9 edges Eric McCarthy at 31:50.2.

Mary Pardi leads the female runners with a total of 38:20.1, followed by Kelly Brown at 39:21.5.

There is still much to be determined in the overall standings and age categories as we roll into the L-A Bridge Run on August 27th.  Finishing times for the three races in the series are totaled to determine Triple Crown Champions.
