Ryan Smith talks with Alan Groudle about the mishap at the 2018 Fit Fest Road Race.
Fit Fest is the first of a three part series that take place in Lewiston/Auburn. During this event there was a barrier that was not moved in time so the front runners were diverted the wrong way costing them to miss breaking the course record. To make good on their error the race gave the two runners that were misguided a $100 each. Ryan Smith was one of the two.
Over 1,800 runners and walkers crossed the finish line amongst the YMCA Fit Fest, Emily’s Run, and Bridge Run this summer. Your participation in the Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series supported a number of great programs serving the people within the Lewiston and Auburn communities.
